It all depends on the season and the outside temperature. Winter babies will need to be bundled up. (Think: Hat, growsuit with built in mittens and booties, a cardigan and a blanket/bunny rug to wrap around them when you are carrying them or placing them in a pram etc. if required.) Summer babies can get away with less, however, should still be covered up so they stay protected from the sun. A short-sleeve growsuit and a sun hat should be fine.
