What is a PU coating?
Our nappy pants contain a terry towelling inner layer that is coated in PU (or Polyurethane), making it waterproof. Our organic cotton terry toweling fabric is laminated with a Polyurethane sheet with the help of an adhesive gel at a high temperature, resulting in a soft, light, breathable and non-toxic coating. This layer is on the inside of the nappy, and doesn’t touch your little one’s skin.
